Hřivínův Újezd lies in a valley of the Vizovická vrchovina and combines a compact village setting with notable evidence of regional history. The regional festival culture is also documented. Martinské hody was celebrated in traditional costume for the third time in 2013. The children's folklore ensemble Skřivánek performed songs, dances and sayings from the Luhačovské Zálesí region. A paved road connects the village with marked Cycling Route 5176 in Kelníky. The connection leads via Doudravy and onwards to the marked cycle-route network in the vicinity of Uherské Hradiště.
