A good cultural starting point is Zlín’s 14th Building. Its PRINCIP BAŤA and FRANTIŠEK BARTOŠ exhibitions present two different themes. The 14th Building also hosts temporary exhibitions and accompanying programmes. This makes it possible to combine a stay in Zlín with changing cultural impressions without limiting yourself to a single permanent exhibition.

There are also notable historical destinations outside Zlín. Vizovice Château has been open to the public since 1948. The Dušan Jurkovič Circuit and the Luhačovice Dam route pass viewpoints, forest paths and the reservoir. The 75-kilometre cycling route between Luhačovice and Vizovice runs through the foothills of the White Carpathians and the Vizovické vrchy. On the Luhačovice–Vizovice cycling route, swimming in the Luhačovice Reservoir is also planned after the ride.

The Zlínsko and Luhačovicko tourist region combines walks, relaxed cycling and more challenging routes through the Vizovické vrchy and the White Carpathians. A shorter alternative is the 35-kilometre route around Zlín, which passes Malenovice Castle and the Pasekářská educational trail. Travellers with different interests can therefore choose between culture, peaceful trails, longer cycling tours and water-based experiences.

At Zlín Zoo, the Karibuni area covers 21 hectares and showcases the fauna and flora of Central and West Africa.
