Sobíňov

Sobíňov provides access to a landscape, history and regional culture that can be explored particularly through specific routes and stops. The Sobíňov Nature Trail is suitable for pedestrians and mountain bikers; it starts and ends at the Sobíňov Municipal Office. The fixed reference point at the Municipal Office gives the exploration a clearly defined starting and ending point.

Landscape and Protected Areas

The Niva Doubravy Nature Reserve protects submontane and montane Nardus grasslands, mesic grasslands, wet meadow foxtail grasslands, wetlands and marshes. Traces of the Liběcká Trail

Sobíňov can also be explored historically through routes and their former use. The Soběnov fortification site was built to protect the Liběcká Trail. It is located at a point where the Liběcká Trail divided into a footpath and a route for horse-drawn vehicles. The Sobíňov Nature Trail also has a stop dedicated to the Liběcká Trail. There, visitors learn more about the former military and later commercial history of this route. Church in Sopoty

A distinct cultural highlight can be found in Sopoty, a settlement in Sobíňov. The Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is located there. It has an almost completely preserved Baroque organ.
