The Church of St. Bartholomew is one of the oldest surviving churches in the Šluknovský výběžek. The Stations of the Cross in Velký Šenov were established in 1855 by Ambrož Hille; the fourteen stone stations were made by the Šenov sculptor Karl Otto.

Cultural highlights include the Baroque sculptural ensemble of Saint John of Nepomuk from 1728, created by J. Riedl, and Opitz's bronze statue “Raněný”. Opitz was an academic sculptor and a student of Myslbek. The statue dates from 1929 and is dedicated to those who fell in the First World War. The two works span the period from the Baroque era to the 20th century.

The cultural centre adds another facet. By drawing the inner curtain, the multifunctional hall can be transformed from a cinema auditorium into a stage for all kinds of theatre performances. This makes both cinema and theatre possible in the same hall.
