The marked KČT Cycling Route No. 4174 runs through Stružinec. It leads from Lomnice nad Popelkou via Stružinec, Košťálov, Benešov u Semil and Jablonec nad Jizerou. For cyclists, the village thus combines a specific route with the opportunity to include other places along the route in their trip.

The surrounding area also offers opportunities for cycling, running and hiking. When snow conditions are good, cross-country skiing is also possible. The red-marked Zlatá stezka Českého ráje hiking trail also runs near Bezděčín. Hůrka offers a particularly distinctive perspective on the landscape: from there, the view extends across a large part of Český ráj. Stone Monuments and the Bell Tower

One of the notable cultural monuments is the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk. It stands in the lower part of Stružinec on a small rise on the left side of the road towards Lomnice nad Popelkou–Košťálov. The statue is carved from porphyritic red sandstone.

The present-day bell tower in Stružinec was built from red sandstone in 1843. In 2022, a bell was returned to the bell tower with the help of a public collection and donations from local residents. This date is therefore part of a specific chapter in the village’s more recent history.

Another monument worth seeing is the stone sculptural group of the Coronation of the Virgin Mary. The group was created in 1855 in the Neo-Gothic style. It depicts the seated Virgin Mary being crowned by God the Father and Jesus Christ; above them, the Holy Spirit hovers in the form of a dove. The sculptural group is considered one of the highest-quality monuments of its kind in the Semily area.

Local Attractions for Different Daily Rhythms

Popular destinations for visitors to Stružinec include the well-maintained area around the pond, the park by the primary school, the football pitch, the tennis courts and a children’s playground. This makes it possible to include moments in your exploration of the village that are less focused on the major landscape routes. For travelers with children, the playground is a specific part of the local attractions, while the park and pond area offer a different accent.

A distinctive local cultural tradition is the Masopust carnival procession, a popular event in Stružinec. Together with the stone monuments, the bell tower and the paths in the surrounding area, it creates a village character that combines experiencing nature with regional traditions.
