Přepeře – Jizera, cycling routes and historic townscapes

Přepeře lies on the right bank of the Jizera and combines a riverside landscape with a remarkable concentration of historic religious buildings. Cycling Route No. 14 passes through the town; at the same time, Přepeře is considered a traditional rest stop for cyclists and canoeists on the Jizera. Near the church stands a rectory dating from the late 19th century, preserved in its original Neo-Gothic form. Also nearby is a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk dating from 1733. The local cemetery also contains a Neo-Gothic chapel. On the road to Příšovice, a Baroque statue of Saint Agatha stands on the banks of the Čtveřínský potok stream.
