Madness of the European February carnivals will come to the Czech capital. One of the most vibrant festivals of the year - Bohemian Festival Carnevale Prague - will be held from 10 to 21 February in the Golden Prague.

The annual Bohemian Carnival, which is annually held in Prague, this year will celebrate the wild Shrovetide for the eighth time. Opening of the Bohemian Carnevale festival in Prague will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 in the center of Prague in the former residence of the Czech kings. It is one of the luxurious Prague sights - the palace of Clam-Gallas - magnificent building in the late Baroque style.

Guests of the Prague Bohemian Carnival festival will be offered not only a brilliant costumed performance, but also exotic masked show, exquisite medieval dances, colorful parade, exciting theater performances, acrobats and jugglers performances, wine and gastronomic delights tasting, and also a lot of entertainment for children and adults.

Bohemian Carnevale in Prague will end by the Cristal Ball – Baroque-styled costumed ball, which will take place in the real medieval castle of Clam-Gallas on February 18. Organizers have also prepared a special AMORETTO costumed party in the Clam-Gallas castle for the children. Contest for the best mask will also be held at the AMORETTO children party.

Events of the Bohemian Carnival in Prague will take place in the most popular public places of the Czech capital: central squares of the city, museums and galleries, theaters, schools and shops. Hotels and restaurants of Prague will offer guests and residents of the capital gastronomic delights for celebrating the traditional wild Shrovetide in the Czech Republic.
