Prague ethnofestival «The Colourful Nine» which will take place in metropolitan park Vysocany, for the seventh time,bring together under one roof many ethnic minorities,who live in Czech Republic, and become vivid and unforgettable entertainment for all visitors.

This ethnofestival offers plenty of entertainment for every taste, for adults and children alike. Visitors of «The Colourful Nine» will join to cultures from five continents, enjoy delicate of variety cuisines in the world, to see the dancers and musicians from neighboring and distant countries.

For children at the festival will be organized various seminars and competitions. Also, for all children will be organized the contest «Travel the world in one», which will become not only great fun for all kids, but exciting and educational game, whose winner will receive a magic prize from the festival «The Colourful Nine».

Adult visitors of the festival «The Colourful Nine» can eat delicious dishes of Dominican, Peruvian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indonesian, Pakistani, African, Afghan, Georgian, Bulgarian and Uzbek cuisine. And also buy souvenirs and gifts at the ethno-fair, see theatrical performances, musical shows and take part in tasting of the best Czech beers, real Caribbean rum and Moldavian wine.

The festival takes place in the Vysocany park, august 27, Prague-9, not far from the streets Podvinný mlýn and Rubeška. Beginning of the festival at 14-00. Admission is free.
