Airlines of the Czech Republic: to the Czech Republic from Russia and Ukraine
Aircrafts of the “Czech Airlines” in the Prague airport

The Czech airlines are increasingly setting air links with cities in Russia. Among the next offers that will be available for Russians is direct flight from Yekaterinburg to Karlovy Vary and from Perm to Prague.

The first scheduled flight, which will connect Yekaterinburg and Karlovy Vary, will be opened on March 23, 2011. It will be carried out by the airline Czech Connect Airlines.

Flight to Karlovy Vary from Yekaterinburg will be operating once a week. Estimated ticket price will be 335 Euro plus fuel charge. Yekaterinburg will be the third Russian city, which will be connected with Karlovy Vary by regular flights.

The airline Czech Connect Airlines has recently been expanding its representation in the air space of Russia. For better promotion of their services in Russia, the company changed the name. Earlier it was known as Central Connect Airlines (SAA). Currently, the core of the fleet of the company consists of medium-range aircrafts Boeing-737.

In addition to Yekaterinburg by the beginning of the season Central Connect Airlines also plans to introduce regular flights to Brno from the Moscow Domodedovo airport and from St. Petersburg.

One more direct flight, this time to Prague, is planned to be open by the second Czech air carrier – “Czech Airlines” (CZA). Information about the agreement between the airline and the administration of the Perm region was published in the blog of the manager of the Perm road agency Helena Gromova. It is also noted that to date from Perm to Europe there are no regular flights and Czech Airlines have all chances to become for Perm a "window to Europe".

It is worth noting that the "CSA" is actively developing promising directions and flights not only in Russia but also in major cities of Ukraine. Thus, the company plans to open regular flights from Kharkov to Prague in 2011.
