Third Czech Beer Academy Seminar
(Beer News)On November 13, 2008 the third seminar of Czech Beer Academy will take place in the wine cellar of Essensia restaurant, located in the Mandarin Oriental hotel. This seminar’s topic will be “Raw Materials: What Makes Czech Beer Czech?” During this event the guided beer tasting will happen lead by Evan Rail (in English), an author specializing on writing about Czech beers and Czech beer culture.
The visitors will have chance to taste superior lagers and ales, some of them known only by specialists and true amateurs, and also some excellent Czech and Asian cuisine specialties serving by Essensia restaurant. The event is planned as a friendly chat over some pints of fine brew combined with lively discussion on Czech brewing, especially the importance of quality raw ingredients.
It is an established fact that the quality of beer depends not only on the brewing and tapping, but also it critically depends on raw ingredients. And the Czech Republic can be proud of the ingredients used by national breweries - Haná barley, Saaz hops, fine yeast, the purest and rather soft water. All of them contribute to the outstanding quality on national beer famous all over the world.
So those who wish to have the great possibility to learn peculiarities of outstanding Czech beers are to make a reservation by phone +420 233 088 612 or via email moprg-pr@mohg.com and then visit the seminar on Thursday, November 13 between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
