Guests of the celebration will be able to take a pleasant walk along its alleys with a glass of fine wine. The program also includes performances of musical groups and special activities for children. Wine fair and tasting will end at 17.00 in the evening, but, despite such a short time, all guests will surely get an unforgettable experience. Velké BÅ™ezno is one of the youngest and small historic castles of the Czech Republic. It was built in 1842-1856 for the burggraf of the Czech kingdom Karl Hotek. Designed initially in the late Empire style it was rebuilt during the late 19th - early 20th centuries into a magnificent neo-Renaissance-style estate. Then a picturesque park was founded around the castle. Well-known Dresden architect of that time Ernst Fleischer supervised the building process.
After Czechoslovakia got independence in the early twentieth century Velké BÅ™ezno was nationalized and turned into a Higher Party School. However, currently it attracts tourists as a museum of architecture, art and painting of the XIX century with excellent exhibitions.
