Fine frog legs, fragrant Uygur herbs, fancy ravioli stuffed with pineapple, delicate shrimps, fragrant Sicilian cannoli, exotic fried ground beetles, eco delicacies, as well as beer, wine, coffee and fresh juices – residents and guests of the Czech capital will be able to taste all this and much more during the gastronomy festival Prague Food Festival 2012, which will be held in late May in Prague.

Guests of the Prague Food Festival 2012 can expect three wonderful days dedicated to food and beverages, unforgettable gourmet entertainment, as well as traditional dishes of modern and old Czech, French, Italian, Oriental, Asian, Chinese and vegetarian cuisine. Visitors will be able not only to taste dishes created by renowned Czech chefs and exotic culinary delights of Prague's most popular restaurants, but also try refined wines, specially selected by the best sommeliers for the festival.

Culinary delights of the Czech and European cuisines at the Prague Food Festival 2012 will be presented by such restaurants as Alcron a La Rotonde, V Zátiší, Chateau Mcely, Piano Nobile, Terasa U Zlaté, Aureole, Na Kopci, Chateau St. Havel, U konÄ›, La Cucina Boscolo and many others.

This year Prague Food Festival 2012 in Prague will be organized with active participation of the Czech Republic tourism organization CzechTourism, which projects are aimed to help to restore the lost recipes of the Bohemian cuisine and popularization of the modern Czech cuisine. Specially invited guests will evaluate not only taste, but also the art of cooking for awarding "The Art of Czech cuisine" prize to the best chef.

Among the famous guests of the Prague Food Festival 2012 in Prague will be such gastronomy stars as Riccardo Lucque, ZdenÄ›k Pohlreich, Filip Sajler, Titus Eliáš, Roman Paulus, Milan HoÅ™ejš, JiÅ™í Král, Tomáš Kalina, Roman Dolejš, sommelier Tomáš Brůha and editor of the “Apetit” edition Darina Sieglová.

Neapolitan chapel, Andalusian flamenco and Cuban music - this is a short list of entertainment available for the guests in addition to many delicacies and drinks. To the festival will also be invited such stars as basketball player Tomáš Satoranský, disabled athlete JiÅ™í Ježek, as well as famous actors and singers Zlata Adamovská, Jana ŠtÄ›pánková, Jitka Schneiderová, Marie Retková, SvÄ›tlana Nálepková, Jana Krausová, David Švehlík, Marek Taclík , Juraj Herz, JiÅ™í Menzel and others.

Prague Food Festival 2012 will take place in the Prague royal garden from 25 to 27 May 2012. Ticket price start from CZK 400 if bought in advance and 450 CZK when buying on the site (including 150/200 CZK for the entrance and 250 CZK for 10 dishes).
