Prague Free Fashion Weekend

Prague Free Fashion Weekend
Prague Free Fashion Weekend

During this weekend (throughout April 3-5, 2009) Prague Free Fashion Weekend will take place. This year the event is named CodeMode - such a change is made due to some troubles connected with registration of the original brand name. One more difference is that this year’s Fashion Weekend will be held in Karlín Halls instead of Roxy/NoD.

The first PFFW was launched in April 2006 by Jovanka Vlčková and Martina Knoblochová as a venue where gifted young designers could meet together, discuss their ideas and views and show their works to those who are interested. Since then the Fashion Weekend has been a huge and steady success. About 2,500 visitors were present at each of the fashion fair.

This year the venue will represent a number of individual stands showcasing new collections of various clothes, accessories and jewellery designers as well as famous shops featuring works of young fashion specialists like Parazit, Revolver and Pour pour. For the first time since the PFFW launch, it will also present works of interior designers and a number of go along events. The visitors of CodeMode will be able not only to look at the displays but also buy anything they wish. And eventful accompanying program will likely satisfy any taste.
