Beer Spa To Be Opened In Černá Hora
(Beer News)Yet another beer spa will appear in the Czech Republic soon. Management of a small brewery located in Černá Hora, South Moravia, has decided to catch a growing trend. Nowadays it is quite wide spread practice when breweries try to increase profits by building own hotels and opening beer spas and other tourist attractions.
The four-star hotel in Černá Hora will be situated in the local Sladovna center founded as early as the 13th century and will be completed in 2010. It will offer tourists about 100 beds, a wellness center and swimming pool. At the moment the brewery owns a restaurant and a pub, which provide total of 250 seats. The beer spas will be available not only to people staying in the hotel but to everybody concerned.
The first medicinal beer spa was founded in West Bohemia by the small Chodovar brewery in 2006. The general manager of the first beer spa Mojmir Prokes commented on the idea of inventing such a great combination of good and pleasant: "Last year we built a hotel here, with 90 beds, and we wanted to give the guests a good service. So we tried to create a wellness centre here." Then somebody thought up to use beer as an active ingredient for the spas. The idea appeared to be fruitful and profitable for the spa center owners.
